Who we are
FindTotality (the "Site") is an independent informational project about solar eclipses visible from Spain. For any privacy question, contact hello@findtotality.com.
What data we process
The Site is a static, informational project. We do not run user accounts and we do not store your personal data on our servers. Two functional cookies are saved in your browser:
ft_lang (language) and ft_theme (light/dark). See the Cookie Policy.Location (calculator)
If you tap "Use my location" in the calculator, your browser shares your coordinates with the page to compute the eclipse locally. We do not store them. To show an optional cloud forecast, those coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo (a third party) — review their privacy terms.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting/CDN; processes connection data (incl. IP) to deliver and secure the Site.
- Open-Meteo — weather forecast in the calculator (only when you request it).
- PostHog (EU) — cookieless product analytics; receives anonymized usage data.
Analytics
We use PostHog (EU) for privacy-friendly, cookieless product analytics: no cookies or browser storage are set, and IP addresses are anonymized. We run no advertising and no cross-site tracking.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to hello@findtotality.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
